Parliament: Work On Long-awaited Subang Jaya Hospital To Start This Year

KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 – Work on the long-awaited Subang Jaya government hospital will start this year, Deputy Minister of Health, Lukanisman Awang Sauni announced at the Dewan Rakyat sitting today.

Lukanisman, who is also Member of Parliament for Sibuti, said the government had approved the USJ1 Klinik project under Budget 2023 under the allocation given for the upgrading of hospital facilities in Peninsular Malaysia.

Commending the efforts taken by the Member Parliament of Subang Wong Chen, who had been lobbying for a government hospital for the people of Subang Jaya and who had also written to the Health Minister on the status of the allocation for the USJ1 Klinik project, Lukanisman said the project will be monitored from time to time by the government agency responsible for its implementation.
