IMF invites youth to fellowship program

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is inviting youth aged 20-32 from across the world to enter the IMF Annual Meetings Youth Fellowship Program.

The program is open to young professionals working or leading civil society organizations, entrepreneurs, content creators (bloggers/ vloggers), students and journalists, a media advisory from IMF said Tuesday.

The 2021 IMF Youth Fellowship Program provides an opportunity for young participants to become part of the global effort to build forward better and join the IMF at the forefront of the response to the crisis.

Participants in the program will experience firsthand the IMF virtual Annual Meetings October 11 – 17. Selected fellows will get the opportunity to participate in a 2-day virtual workshop on October 11- 12 to meet with IMF management and senior staff and discuss current global economic issues including inclusive growth, inequality, digital economy, and climate change.

Selected participants will receive a certificate of completion of the IMF Youth Fellowship Program.
