The future of mainland Penang’s Bandar Cassia as seen by industry experts

PENANG, April 7: A forum featuring two property industry experts and a leading media man will take off here this April 9th, to present the future of Bandar Cassia – Penang’s Third Satellite City – in the Batu Kawan area of mainland Penang.

Entitled “Experts Outlook : Bandar Cassia – The Coming Years” the forum would see Ho Chin Soon, Fellow of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia, and Chairman of Ho Chin Soon Research and Hong Onn Enlightens, and a Penangite himself, offering an insight on “Where is Penang’s Locational Centre of Gravity Heading?“, while Jacqueline Lim, Editor & Branding Head of The Edge Property Malaysia, will speak on “Penang Mainland Property Market: An In-Depth Analysis“, outlining the market trends, growth dynamics and the urban maturation of Batu Kawan.

Datuk Yong Soo Heong, the Editor-in-Chief of of Weekly Echo, and Former CEO of BERNAMA and also a Penangite, will present “Keeping Old Penang While Harnessing the Business Future of New Penang”.

Organised by PE Holdings Group, the event is expected to bring together key decision makers, industry leaders and business owners, tracking the growth of Bandar Cassia.

The event will focus on emerging investment signals, Batu Kawan’s role within Penang’s evolving economic landscape, and how growth on the mainland is reshaping business and development priorities, including the group’s upcoming Capstone Corporate Suites, a press statement released by the group said.
