KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 – Popular Indian playback singer and musician Raghavendra Raja Rao, known more as Sean Roldan – his stage name – is in town and will be performing his maiden show here this Friday, May 12.
In a statement issued recently, the organisers of the event, Aakaar Foundation, said the musical evening will see the musician, who has given many hit songs in the Tamil movie industry, performing along with his band – whose members are some of the most talented musicians from India – and the National Symphony Orchestra of Malaysia,
Co-founder of Aakaar, S.Vinoth Kumar said fans could expect to enjoy a unique and interesting musical experience with a combination of his independent songs as well as movie hits on his plate for the evening.
On Aakaar, Vinoth said the foundation hoped to bring quality stage productions that will continue to promote diverse cultures and genres of music with the engagement of various artists and talents.
“Aakaar aims to curate a series of productions ranging from classical music concerts, folk/theatre/drama and dance productions that provide a moral message, poetry recitals etc.”
This Friday’s show will take off at the Plenary Hall, KLCC at 8.30 pm.
