Kuala Lumpur, April 1 – OpenSys (M) Bhd, a leading solution provider for the financial services, telco and utilities industries, plans on deploying up to 120 units of its recently launched digital payment solution X-KIOSK nationwide this year.
The X-KIOSK is aimed at supporting the the Malaysian government’s MyDigital initiatives to encourage more Malaysians to adopt a digital payment lifestyle, said Chief Executive Officer of OpenSys, Eric Lim.
The kiosk will boost a digital lifestyle to the communities as it presents an easy alternative to settling payments. Consumers can conduct payment services for themselves or on behalf of others using the kiosk for prepaid reload, e-Wallet top-up, SIM card replacement, sale of SIM card, bill payment and loan repayment, a press release issued by the company recently said.
The kiosks, which will offer convenience to those underserved as well, will be deployed in high traffic community-based lifestyle locations such as retail outlets (including ECO-Shop and dobiQueen), convenience stores, residential buildings, universities and colleges.
The successful launch of X-KIOSK, which integrates technology into Malaysians’ lifestyle, is a result of collaborations and partnerships with GoBiz by U Mobile, TNG Digital, dobiQueen and ECO-Shop.
