MITRA collaborates with KLSICCI among others to hold business program for petty traders

KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 – The Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (MITRA) has joined forces with the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSICCI) as well as several other bodies to come up with an initiative – Business Facilitation Program – aimed at petty traders in the country.

In a recent Facebook posting, the KLSICCI said the program, which will also see collaboration from Malaysia Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (MAICCI) and Selangor Wilayah Indian Business Association (SWIBA) is aimed at empowering small petty traders who are struggling to sustain their business operations post Covid-19.

Through the program, assistance and support is expected to be given to petty traders nationwide to strengthen their respective business operations, the posting said.

MAICCI , KLSICCI & SWIBA will be entrusted to identify the qualified recipients nationwide to benefit from this program .
