CYBERJAYA, Dec 6: Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has launched its inaugural organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) publication that is aimed at upholding commitment to transparency and ethical governance in the digital economy.
In a press release here today, MDEC said the five years inclusion of MDEC’s OACP publication, from 2023 till 2027, was a demonstration of its dedication to strengthening administration, fostering anti-bribery,
anti-corruption, and abuse of power within the organisation.
“Aligned with MDEC mission, the OACP publication aims to drive the digital economy upon a solid
foundation of integrity, transparency, and good governance.”
Present at the launch were Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital (KKD) Teo Nie Ching; Deputy
Secretary General of KKD Sivanesan; Chairman of MDEC Tuan Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, and Chief Executive officer of MDEC Mahadhir Aziz.
Also present at the launch was Azmin bin Yusoff, Community Education Division Deputy Director of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the Board of Directors of MDEC.
At the event, MDEC employees also made their anti-corruption pledge “Ikrar Bebas Rasuah (IBR)” in a hybrid ceremony. The IBR is MDEC’s continuous effort to upholding integrity and accountability, the statement said.
