DOC2US launches RTKis test kit for Covid-19

KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 – DOC2US, the first telemedicine provider in Malaysia in compliance with the
Ministry of Health to provide digitally signed e-prescription services, has launched new test kit that allows users to conduct Covid-19 self-testing at home.

The RTKis (pronounced as Ar-Tee-kis) is a comprehensive solution consisting of a Medical Device Authority
(MDA) approved home-use RTK antigen test kit that allows user to conduct COVID-19 self-testing at home
with their identity verification and test process validation as well as test result validation using artificial
intelligent (AI) on the DOC2US RTKis platform.

Positive result will then be uploaded to the Public Health Laboratory Information System (SIMKA) which is synchronized with the MySejehtera app, the company said in a statement today.

Dr Raymond Choy, Chief Executive Officer of DOC2US said, “The MITI guidelines require employees to be screened for COVID-19 twice prior to resumption of work and twice per week thereafter. With most businesses suffering loss of revenue due to the lockdowns, it is critical to provide a credible solution that is convenient and economical, thus enables allowed sectors to resume their activities while complying with the MITI guidelines.

“Our solution is comprehensive in design that it allows little to no room for fraud as users access the DOC2US RTKis platform via QR codes that is unique to each RTK.antigen test kit sold under our package. Users will also need to verify their phone number, ID and validate..their test process via photo taking and video recording,” said Tan Aik-Keong, Chief Technology Officer of DOC2US and Chief Executive Officer of Agmo Studio Sdn Bhd, who developed the backend system.

He said the AI-powered system uses image classification engine with machine learning to identify the test result based on the uploaded test kit photo.

Currently, the RTKis works with Gmate Saliva Antigen Test Kit imported exclusively by CityMedics.
