Bowler Beverly Chin Strikes 3rd Gold Medal For Malaysia at Special Olympics Berlin

BERLIN, June 24 – Bowler Beverly Chin Lai Yen won a gold medal at the Special Olympics Berlin on Friday, raising Malaysia’s gold medal tally to three at the Games.

Beverly won the first spot in the Women’s Singles D43 Bowling event, making it the second gold medal won by the Malaysian bowling team. The first gold was won by the Men’s Doubles Bowling D11 category.

The second gold was won by shot putter Nurazliza Mohd Sapri in the Female Division F01 category.

Other than the 3 gold medals, the Special Olympics Malaysian team has also won 2 silver and 7 bronze medals including in Bocce and Badminton.
