MOSCOW, July 30 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) — Tsunami waves after the powerful earthquake in Russia’s Kamchatka hit the coast of the US state of Hawaii, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said on Wednesday, according to Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
Tsunami waves are currently affecting the state of Hawaii, the NOAA said, calling for urgent action to protect lives and property.
