Have you ever met people whose kindness leaves a lasting mark on your heart? I count myself truly fortunate to have encountered some such souls. One of them is Encik Mohd Bakhtiar Yahya, a dedicated manager handling both Maybank’s Jalan Raja Muda, Kampung Bahru, and Menara Felda Persiaran KLCC branches.
As a senior citizen with certain physical limitations myself, banking tasks can sometimes feel overwhelming. Yet Encik Bakhtiar has always been there with patience and care, guiding me through counter services and making the process smooth and reassuring.
His thoughtful assistance — whether in routine matters or festive needs, such as new banknotes and gift packets — speaks volumes about his dedication.
What sets him apart is not just efficiency, but his humanity. A man of his word, he carries his responsibilities with grace despite a busy schedule. He never rushes clients into decisions, instead encouraging them to weigh all options before committing. That gentle reassurance is rare and deeply comforting.
Bank managers with such a genuine human touch are definitely hard to come by these days.
