Residents of Kampung Muhibbah get vaccinated through mobile vaccine truck

KUALA LUMPUR, June 7 – The first mobile vaccine truck today began its service at the Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) of Kampung Muhibbah here, vaccinating 1,000 of its residents.

The residents were mostly senior citizens who had registered for the vaccine with the help of the housing project’s residents committee.

The mobile vaccination unit is expected to start vaccinating between 15,000 and 20,000 residents of Kuala Lumpur from June 15.

Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation and Coordinating Minister for COVID-19 Immunisation Khairy Jamaluddin was present at the site.

Meanwhile, the new vaccination centre in Setia City Convention Centre also reported a smooth first day of vaccination. A total of 2,000 people from the area will be vaccinated today.

On Sunday, June 6, a total of 81,183 individuals also received their vaccination with 79,620 of them taking their first dose.

With this, a total of 3,574,376 Malaysians have already received their vaccination doses.
