Massive Protest In The Hague Against Israeli Violence In Gaza

THE HAGUE, May 19 (Bernama-Xinhua) — Tens of thousands of people gathered in central The Hague, the Netherlands, on Sunday for a large-scale demonstration condemning Israel’s military actions in Gaza, Xinhua reported.

Protesters called on the Dutch government to take stronger measures against Israel and demand an end to the violence.

Organisers estimated that over 100,000 people participated in the rally. Demonstrators marched in a long procession from Malieveld to the Peace Palace, where the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is located.

The demonstration was organised by several aid and human rights groups, along with pro-Palestinian organisations.

Many protesters wore red clothing as a symbolic gesture to “draw a red line,” urging the Dutch government to set clear limits on its stance regarding Israel’s actions.

The protest concluded peacefully in the afternoon, with Dutch police confirming that no incidents were reported.
