Malaysians in Selangor, KL, Putrajaya can walk in to listed PPVs for vaccine

PUTRAJAYA, Aug 22 – From Monday, Aug 23, Malaysian citizens in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur or Putrajaya who have not received their COVID-19 vaccine yet can walk-in at any of the PPV listed to get vaccinated.

Announcing this in its Twitter account today, the Ministry of Health also said that reports from all the states showed that vaccination rates for adults in the respective states as of Aug 21 had exceed 50 percent of the population in the states.

A total of 12.71 million people in Malaysia have already been given two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Meanwhile the ministry also reported a total of 19,807 new cases of the virus today.
