Malaysia reports 2,690 new COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths

PUTRAJAYA, April 25 – Malaysia continued to record a rise in its COVID-19 cases with a total of 2,690 new cases reported on Sunday, with 10 of them imported.

In its Twitter account today, the Ministry of Health also reported 10 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the number of those infected and in intensive care units rose to 283, while 121 people were on ventilators.

With the latest cases, the number of people infected by the virus rose to 392,942, while 367,753 people have recovered including 1,853 recoveries reported on Sunday.
