GRS, GPS ready to uphold King’s unity government call

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 – Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) says a unity government must be formed as soon as possible.

In a statement today, Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor said GRS and Gabungan Parti Sarawak were in synch with following the call of the King for the political parties to form a unity government to ensure stability and progress for the country and people of Malaysia.

“GRS is of the view that the formation of a unity government should be inclusive and involve the governments of Sabah and Sarawak that have received the mandates of the people. For the country to move forward, we must have political stability to ensure economic development that will be bring prosperity and well being for the people.”
