KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 – Heavy rains in the city left many places here inundated with flood waters.
Among the affected areas included Old Klang Road, and Jalan Raja Chulan as well as Bukit Jalil.
There was a warning of heavy rain and storm put out by the Malaysian Meteorology Department earlier.
The late afternoon rain is expected to cause heavy traffic jams in the city with many heading back home after work. Some, who have not been able to even get to their cars, stuck in flood waters, are expected to see a long wait before reaching home.
