KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2: Dr Rahim Said scored again at the Newswav annual awards night here last night when he bagged the Golden Milestone Award for having five million viewers in the news portal.
In 2024, he had won four awards from Newswav, including Best Creator of the Year Award.
He currently enjoys a readership of 7.3 million viewers on the Newswav digital platform and has written more than 2,000 articles in the last three years.
Dr Rahim also writes extensively for the Weekly Echo news portal and is currently its leading contributor with more than 200 articles in last two years.
He has won the best short story writing award from Write Tales Australia.
His book “Pengurusan Personel” won the best text book award in Bahasa Malaysia organised by Public Bank and the Malaysian Linguistic Society in 1987. The book was published by Fajar Bakti (Oxford University Press).
He has published in local and overseas journals, including the Malayan Law Journal, Singapore; International Journal of Sociology of Law of London; UNESCO’s Doctors and Society; Nusantara – Malaysian Journal of Social Sciences, UKM, Kuala.
He was also a former editor of the Journal of Malaysian Institute of Personnel Management (1980-86) and served as a member of the Publication Committee of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Press.
