
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28: A group of seven organisations have come together to organise a community health camp in Taman Muda, Ampang, aimed at promoting wellness and physical well being in communities.
Initiated by Diabetes Malaysia Selangor Branch and charitable organisation, Be Good Do Good Association to bring awareness of essential health information and assistance to communities, other community-oriented organisations were also invited to participate in the event.
Another five organisations have joined hands now to run the Community Health Camp & Walkathon 2025, namely Chui Sui Association, Persatuan Amal Cemerlang, AIM Healthcare Center, Tong Xin Tang TCM Center, Kung Fu Lin Sdn Bhd and Shaolin Temple.
A walkathon has been also organised along with the health camp, which will be held on Nov 2nd at Taman Muda Flower Garden Football Field in Ampang.
The event is being sponsored by CIMB, Persatuan Amal Cemerlang (led by brother Mok), Zinzino Independent Distributor (Grace), Borneo Village Restaurant (Elaine Ng) and Diabetes Malaysia Selangor Branch.
Participants at the camp, which will start at 6.30 am to 1pm, will be given health screening and counselling, while talks on diabetes, mental wellness and SOCSO will be also held, a press release issued by the organisers said.
The walkathon – Walk for Health, will take off at 7am on the same day (Nov 2, 2025), while other highlights include aerobics and Qi Gong sessions.
