WASHINGTON, Aug 6 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) — United States (US) President Donald Trump said that a big military complex is being built at the White House, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
“You know, last week I’m building this big military complex. It’s including a lot of different things, and some of the things I can’t even talk about,” Trump said, addressing his followers in Las Vegas.
After taking office, Trump began a major renovation of the White House, demolishing its East Wing to build a new ballroom for large receptions. By March 2026, the ballroom’s cost was estimated at US$600 million.
In July, the US leader confirmed that a helipad is being built at the White House South Lawn, a project funded by Lockheed Martin subsidiary Sikorsky.
