KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 (Bernama) — Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has expressed his condolences and sorrow over the passing of Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) Sarawak Bureau photographer Razali Nordin today.
In a post on his Facebook page, Fadillah prayed that Razali’s entire family would be granted strength and patience by Allah in facing this trial.
“May the late Razali be placed among the faithful and be granted Allah’s blessings,” he said.
Razali, who hailed from Batu Gajah, Perak, died at the Sarawak General Hospital (HUS) in Kuching at 1.44 am.
Fadillah, who is also the Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, said Razali frequently covered events he attended and was highly committed.
The Petra Jaya Member of Parliament also said the last time he met Razali was during a visit at HUS on April 5, and that he had also visited him when he was admitted to Normah Medical Specialist Centre in June 2016.
Meanwhile, Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, in a Facebook post, also conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the entire family of Razali, the Bernama photographer who passed away this morning. May they be given strength in facing this ordeal,” he said.
It is learnt that Razali, 54, suffered from several chronic illnesses, including heart, liver and kidney problems.
He is survived by his wife, Ratnawaty Abdul Hai, and four children.
